Burnley Wharf, Leeds & Liverpool Canal
This tastefully converted warehouse in the centre of Burnley, with its huge canopy over the canal, now houses the clerks for the local courts of justice. The rest of the wharf complex, round the bend to the right, houses a pub restaurant and a museum devoted to the town's onetime principal occupation of weaving.

Mount Pleasant Street, Burnley
A former industrial building with a square chimney. This is not the demolished Mount Pleasant Mill that was a weaving shed where the courts now stand. I would welcome any information about this site.
