Hammerton Street Burnley
Inner city urban decay as large numbers of offices and shops are boarded up. The small street on the left is Paradise St and the next cross roads further on is Hargreaves St. The chimney in the distance is the listed building of Proctors Ironworks.

Cow Lane Mill; from Hammerton Street, Burnley
It is hard to tell from this angle but this is in Burnley town centre. The mill is now converted to commercial use (as a night club) but was a cotton spinning mill that was being worked by 1848 and had a McNaughted beam engine of 30 horsepower when put up for sale in 1877. Was later part of Proctor's Ironworks.
