Henstridge was a royal estate in the 10th century and was held by Earl Harold in 1066. This cottage is typical of those in the village.

Church of St Nicholas - Henstridge
Most of the church dates from 1873 and later, when the tower was rebuilt in 1900. The interior houses a 15th century monument to William Carent and his wife.
