Templecombe Telephone Exchange
Located at 1a East Street, this TE is of a modern standard design with an air vent fixed on the roof. Besides Templecombe, this TE also serves Horsington, South Cheriton, Stowell and Yenston nearby. Ticket Office, Templecombe.
The Ticket Office is located in part of the Signal Box, the signalman now sells tickets as well as operating the frame. Plaques above the window are;- Smokebox number plate 34023 from a Bulleid West Country Class. & a Name plate from a Class 33 Diesel Electric Locomotive.
