Who else would drink here?
Where would Glastonbury be if it wasn't for all those thirsty knights of old? The pub claims to have Glastonbury's biggest venue.

Benedict Street and St Benedict's Church, Glastonbury
Looking east along Benedict Street (towards the town centre) with the tower of St Benedict's Church dominating the road. St Benedicts school is on the left, hence the old-fashioned "School" sign. The familiar landmark of St Michael's tower on top of the Tor is peeking up above the houses in the centre of the photo.

Sign near St Benedict's CE junior school, Glastonbury
Caps, shorts, satchels and a purposeful stride schoolwards - it looks a bit dated now, but I guess it was slightly idealised even when the sign was new.

St Benedict's Church, Glastonbury
The church was originally dedicated to St. Benignus or St. Bennings and retained this until the middle of the 17th century. Bishop Benignus was a great friend and disciple of St. Patrick and became his successor. Website http://www.stbens.ukpc.net/

Sign for the King Arthur
Arthur was probably a British leader during the Anglo-Saxon invasion. A vast body of legendary tales were associated with him before the 11th century and transmitted throughout Europe. The main facts of the legend are that Arthur showed his royal blood by drawing a sword from a stone. His own sword, Excalibur, was given to him by the Lady of the Lake. Arthur's court centred on the Round Table at Camelot, where gathered such knights as Sir Lancelot, who loved Arthur's queen, Guinevere, (Elaine of Astolat was in love with Lancelot), Sir Galahad, leader of the quest for the Holy Grail, Sir Gawain, the ideal knight, Sir Kay, Arthur's churlish foster brother. Also there was Merlin, the court magician, Morgan le Fay, Arthur's sister, and Sir Parsifal. Some of these individual figures are commemorated in pub names.
