Given a helping handout
West Pennard village hall has recently benefited from a £10,000 Government grant. In these terrible times and the subsequent damage to businesses in lockdown, the village applied for the Covid-19 Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant. As a well-used and integral part of the rural fabric, the lockdown has forced income and bookings down by at least a half and so the funds are seen as a vital help.
