Cider-making machinery
In a barn at Old Ditch Farm bamboo canes rest against an old double-screw cider press and behind it (to the right) is a scratter. The scratter was manufactured by the Albert Day foundry at Mark, Somerset in 1878 and is used to pulp the apples. Both machines are still used at Old Ditch Farm.
