A black box on High Street
What else would you find on the old Post Office? In fact this building held the position for the latter part of the twentieth century before closing - previously the office was near the main road. The house itself dates from the mid-nineteenth century and is Grade II listed.

Dye Lane
An interesting name for a small lane in Oakhill - particularly when the village is chiefly associated with brewing. Indeed, the buildings here were once part of the large brewery complex.

2011 : High Street, Oakhill
Logic dictates that Oakhill must have a history, but apart from a Local History Group and the Oakhill Brewery, now closed, nothing is disclosed on the web. Now it is mostly a commuter village.
