Binegar's communications centre
The telephone box was due for the chop from BT - it was used less frequently than was deemed worthy. However, a concerted campaign to keep it has resulted in the phone staying, but the box no longer accepts coins of the realm. Just as well, as the costs are reportedly rather steep now! The bench seat is actually a Silver jubilee of 1977 vintage.

Historic housing on Binegar Green
This well-built house stands across the road from Binegar Green. An occupier illuminated the scene by saying the oldest part of the structure could well be 350 years old, with additions following on at later times. The archway used to have steam lorries passing through (as part of the stone quarrying nearby), and the house actually held Italian sailors in the war after their ship was sunk.
