The Horse and Jockey
A somewhat isolated pub in a fairly rural area. However, the locals appear to find it welcoming enough and it's been here for over a century.

Binegar pillbox
Located right beside the old S&D railway line, it was part of the WWII defences prepared in case of German invasion. This is a Type 26 variety and there are apparently more examples locally. Across the South West, a number of 'Stop Lines' were introduced along rail, road and possible armoured vehicle routes; this would have included this quiet part of Somerset. The railway and the associated bridge are now gone. See Image] for another view.

A box right by the bridge
The old S&D railway line and bridge are things of the past, as is the pillbox beside it. See Image] for a look inside the latter.
