Daniell monument, Limpley Stoke
A very grand chest tomb "with urn finial on fluted plinth" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1285575 . To Francis Clisild Daniell, who died on 3rd February 1857 aged 37 - and to Joseph Clisild Daniell, presumably his father, who died on 11th March 1862 aged 79, a clothier who patented a number of inventions for the manufacture of woollen cloth.

Daniell monument, Limpley Stoke
The "damaged oval inscription tablet" https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1285575 on the other side of the chest tomb shown in Image], providing the information I gave in that description. I've ramped up the contrast to try to reveal the inscription, rather unsuccessfully, I'm afraid. "Resurgam" is fairly clear, though.

St Mary's church, Limpley Stoke
According to http://history.wiltshire.gov.uk/community/getimage.php?id=4630 . the dedication was once to St Edith. The grade II* church https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1364104 is on the southern edge of the village and nearer Freshford than much of Limpley Stoke.

The grade II* listed church https://www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1364104 is also shown at Image] and Image Pevsner claimed in 1963 that the church was little-known, but I'm still surprised that no pictures of it have previously been submitted.
