Crumbling benchmark
On the corner of this old workshop is a benchmark, which has seen better days. It is still listed on the OS database, and also on the Benchmark Database: http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm39808 . See Image] for a longer view, and Image] for a sign on the other side of this corner.

Closed for business
A sign informing the passer-by that the premises are now shut. The old engineering workshops were part of Bath's thriving history (adjoining the river as they do) but now stand largely empty. A difficult decision has been prompted after an offer to open them up (with many structural changes) was balanced against the preservation of our industrial heritage. See Image] for a long view.
