From bridleway CL 9/48. Across the valley, right of centre, are houses on the A39 Bath Road at Hobb's Wall.

2010 : First and last house in Hobb's Wall
Probably built around 1900, a cut above others in the vicinity, possibly for the overseer of a local coal mine (now closed). Barrow Vale is behind the house, the A39 passes the door.
