Walcot Methodist Church, Nelson Place East, Bath
Bearing the date 1815 in the pediment. Quite imposing with paired Corinthian columns and a porch with paired Greek Doric columns. Slightly off-beat pediment above an attic. The design came courtesy of a man of the cloth, William Jenkins. Grade II listed.

Barred to the bar
A bar that once was The Hat and Feathers is now actually known as The Hudson Steakhouse. A public house of the former name existed in Bath from about 1752 and had a reputation for a rather unconventional and lively clientele but the venue here was only created in the twentieth century. It closed in 2004 and the Hudson emerged in the following year. There is a benchmark on the corner by the railings - see Image

Deo Sacrum
The old Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in London Road, is dated 1815; it was designed by the Revd William Jenkins and represented a change of style from the more traditional chapels of previous times. Out went the simpler and in came the more classical and larger chapels. To the right is another building with a benchmark - see Image
