Northumberland Place, Bath
This narrow street runs west to east from Burton Street, behind the viewpoint, to High Street. Very quaint spoiled only by the presence of a CCTV camera on the pillar in the centre of the image.

The Corridor, Bath
Henry Edmund Goodridge designed this arcade which opened in October 1825. The roof came later, after Goodridge's death. The Corridor had to be renovated after being bombed in 1974. It links Union Passage and the High Street.

We had just taken off from Victoria Park, flying roughly westwards. Great Pulteney Street to the left of the river; the Abbey etc. to the right of the river.
