2007 : Road Junction, Hilperton
The B3105 from Staverton and Hilperton Marsh meets to old A361.
A busy scene before the coming of the Hilperton bypass, the road straight ahead is now subject to a 20mph speed limit and "speed bumps".
The Lion and Fiddle public house is on the right.

2007 : Village Stocks, Hilperton
Village stocks were used in medieval times as a form of punishment for minor offenders. Generally they were used to humiliate the victim and people were only allowed to throw soft material.
There's many a miscreant today who would benefit from a spell, but remember, soft material only.
