Old Farm Road
Despite its name, until very recently there was no road at this location. The name derives from the fact that the new housing development occupies the site of the Larkrise Community Farm, which has been relocated to new facilities in an adjacent square (ST8756).

Biss Meadows Country Park, Trowbridge
Being floodplain most developers have left this area alone and it has now become a small but pleasant oasis for those living in the new developments around it. That is, if one can ignore the dumped trolleys, carrier bags and other wrapping litter, for immediately behind the photographer is the Tesco's car park with recycling facility.

Biss Meadows Country Park, Trowbridge in high summer
A summer time view of the Biss Meadows Country Park. Compare to the winter view amongst the trees in the centre of the photo at Image The white building on the very left is in fact a large tent erected by Tesco while they expand their store.
