Nelson Place West, Bath
Begun c1815, but the finishing touches had to wait until 1973 when the far end was built to balance the design. These sections have Ionic pilasters while the middle section, slightly recessed, has a continuous iron balcony. John Palmer may have provided the design. Grade II listed.

Watch box, Norfolk Crescent, Bath
Dated c1810, restored in the 1890s. The listing observes that it is "a very rare survival of this building type, revealing a high level of architectural finish". Grade II* listed. The watchman inside must have represented the thin line between the genteel residents of the crescent behind (Image]) and local vagabonds and footpads.
