Church interior, St Adhelm's, Bishopstrow
The interior dates from 1876 but the roof, although restored may be partly medieval.

St. Aldhelm's church
St. Aldhelm planted his staff in the ground here, whereupon it promtly sprouted leaves and grew into an ash tree, hence Bishopstrow - bishops tree.
