Old Milestone by Longcombe Drive, Longleat Park
Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of CORSLEY (WEST WILTSHIRE District), Longleat Park; Longcombe East Hanging, 600m South West of Picket Post Gate, by the road, on South East side of road. Longleat iron plate, erected by a private company in the 18th century. Inscription reads:- : Longleat / Houſe / 2 Miles : Carved benchmark front lower. Longleat Park and Garden is Grade I Listed.
