The parish church of St. John the Evangelist at Sutton Veny, Wiltshire.The Union Flag is presumably flown for Trafalgar Day. Shame about the telephone wire!

Milepost, Sutton Veny
The milepost is opposite Sutton Veny Primary School. It was made by Carson and Miller, a firm of Warminster iron founders, manufacturers of a series of cast-iron mileposts and boundary posts on radial turnpike roads around Warminster. It dates from around 1840.
