Cosy village pub on High Street. Internally, back bar, with two eating and drinking areas left and right, separated by a fireplace; snug down some steps. Pool, darts, garden. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Butcombe Bitter, Sharp's Doom Bar.

The Church of St Peter and St Paul
The church has its origins in the 12th century. During the following centuries further building took place. A period of restoration took place in 1864 to 1867 by W. Butterfield. The church has a cruciform plan and is built of limestone, rubble stone and ashlar.
