Road Peace memorial in Pigeon Park
The charity Road Peace unveiled a monument to all those lost or affected by death on Britain's roads in 2010. It was sculpted by Yannick Li-Ah-Kane and beside it is a smaller plaque thanking for showing the monument respect. See Image] for a wider view.

Detail of 39-40 St James's Parade, Bath
Handsome paired doorcases under a shared pediment. The frieze has festoons, and the capitals are derived from the Tower of the Winds in Athens. The houses may have been designed by John Eveleigh, c1770.

Pigeon Park
Now a small area of peace and greenery amid the busy traffic in central Bath, this was once a cemetery belonging to St James. New grounds were opened up in 1861 on the Lower Bristol Road, and this became a popular place for people. A memorial was also placed here recently, adding to the reverence. See Image] for more. Oddly the name is uncertain - the locals simply refer to it as Pigeon Park and for obvious reasons!

Definitely no entry
Just to be on the safe side.... However, the signs only appear to apply to the short section of extended pavement that they are on not to the Lower Borough Walls road. All three metres of it!
