River Avon, Bath
A trip boat heads downstream under the bridge over which the railway curves into Bath Spa station. It is easy to imagine that the gentleman standing is lecturing the passengers about the wonders of Brunel's Great Western Railway.

Working on The Vaults at Bath Spa Station
The Vaults is the final component of the SouthGate development http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SouthGate,_Bath . Several restaurants and kiosks will be clustered around a new pedestrian plaza between the bus and railway stations. One of the restaurants is seen nearing completion above the vaults to the left.
These arches have been exposed by digging away a substantial ramp, which provided an access road to the elevated level of the station platform. It was the only way up for passengers unable to use the stairs, before lifts were installed in 2011 as part of the station redevelopment.
The ramp was an integral part of Brunel's design for the station (opened 1840 on the Great Western Railway). Originally there was a goods shed on top of the arches (old drawing here http://www.freshford.com/pages16.htm ), it was demolished at the end of the 19th century.
