Dill's famous Bath polonies
Perhaps no longer famous, but the lettering above the Early Learning Centre in Cheap Street is a reminder of the variety of sausage named loosely after Bologna in Italy and more usually associated with the north of England.
Cheap Street runs west from Bath Abbey to become Westgate Street. This is the north side.

The Corridor, High Street, Bath
By Henry Goodridge, 1825. It has a glass and iron barrel-vaulted roof and a frieze of laurel wreaths. Most or all of the shopfronts date from work in 1870. Grade II listed.
