Village children's play area
Part of Manor Farm land, this piece was given over to the villagers by C.D.P. Smallpiece D.Sc. (Hon). His great granddaughters, Victoria and Nichola Kurtz, formally opened it on the occasion of the Queen's Silver Jubilee in June, 1977.

2010 : Seymour Arms, Witham Friary from the south

"The Seymour Arms is a traditional and popular public house where a decent glass of scrumpy can be bought. Purpose-built along with farm buildings in 1866 or 1867 for the Duke of Somerset's estate, it takes its name from the family name of the Duke of Somerset.
