Old Milestone, Egford Hill, Frome
The milestone is located 27m east of Egford Hill Farmhouse, set into the wall beside the road, on the north side of the road. Parish of Selwood (Mendip District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Frome iron plate design, erected by the Frome turnpike trust in the 18th century.

2009 : The valley of Egford Brook
Looking north. The brook is on the other side of the trees to the right, it joins the Mells River near Vallis Farm about half a mile ahead, eventually joining the River Frome.
