The war memorial in the Remembrance Gardens off Plymouth Road. The inscription on the upper part of the north side of the plinth reads. TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN EVERLASTING MEMORY OF THOSE OF REDDITCH WHO IN THE GREAT WAR FACED DEATH FOR FREEDOM AND PASSED OUT OF OUR SIGHT 1914 - 1918 The inscription on the lower part of the north side of the plinth reads. AND OF THOSE FROM THIS TOWN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES WHEN FREEDOM WAS AGAIN IN DANGER 1939 - 1945 On the south side of the plinth there is a plaque which reads. The Garden of Remembrance and Monument were refurbished in 2005 to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the end of World War II Redditch Borough Council

A hair salon on Evesham Street. Note the traffic sign in the background indicating that only local buses, taxis and emergency vehicles can pass the end of Evesham Street into Station Way. This is one of several such bus gates around the centre of the town.
