The photographer has to confess that his positioning of this photograph along this leafy but anonymous reach of the canal could be somewhat suspect, but the imagery on Where's the Path shows this to be the only place along the canal with a slight bend to the left, between

The Stratford-upon-Avon Canal was built from King's Norton Junction (with the Worcester and Birmingham Canal) to Kingswood Junction (with the Warwick and Birmingham Canal - now Grand Union Canal) by 1803.
