Lapworth station and Station Road, Kingswood
Looking north from the station footbridge. Kingswood feels less like a village, more like a suburb that has grown around a hamlet and a railway station. The station and its free car park, right, is a good centre for walking and cycling in the Arden countryside.

Lapworth railway station, Warwickshire
Opened in 1854 as 'Kingswood' by the Great Western Railway on the line from Warwick to Birmingham Snow Hill, this station acquired its current name in 1902. View north towards Dorridge and Birmingham.

Approaching Lapworth Station
Train pulls into station enroute to Leamington Spa. Notice the footbridge goes both to the island platform (used for trains to Birmingham) but continues to right (beyond unused trackbed) giving access to right of way / footpath that turns west.
