Flats and apartments in the 'centre' of Dickens' Heath
It's an odd place at first acquaintance; obviously a newly-built dormer town on the outskirts of Brum, and as a result doesn't appear to have a commercial centre as such (not that I saw, anyway). This is one of the main ways into the housing developments, via Dickens' Heath Road.

With dense vegetation and dappled shade the line of the canal is sometimes hard to detect, as along here, with only the edge of the towpath to provide guidance.
