At the southeast corner of Wiggington Park
Participants in the 2021 Cathedral to Castle (Lichfield to Tamworth) 10 mile race, here heading through Wiggington Park inside the last couple of miles of the route. We are about to turn right and take an underpass below the railway, before making for the Castle grounds to finish. The race was held in Sept 2021, following a couple of years when it was postponed as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Apollo on the Lichfield Road Industrial Estate
Many of the roads on this industrial estate are named with a 1960s space programme reference - Gagarin, Apollo, Borman, Armstrong, Lovell and others. The distant figures are a runner and two marshalls in the 2021 Cathedral to Castle 10 mile road race from Lichfield to Tamworth, which finally took place in September 2021 after a couple of years of postponements for the Coronavirus pandemic.
