Old Nethersole's School, Polesworth
The brick building at the western end of Polesworth's High Street dates from 1818 when it replaced Sir Francis Nethersole's school for the poor. The school was founded in the mid-17th century for ‘the children of the poorer sort' by Nethersole who had married the daughter of Sir Henry Goodyer of Polesworth. Today the building is used as apartments.
