Coventry Canal viewed over south parapet of Bridge #73
The bridge takes Glascote Road (B5000) over the canal. There is an Ordnance Survey benchmark Image on bricks in the middle of the parapet.

Coventry Canal: Glascote Basin entrance
The entrance to Glascote Basin is through this bridge that carries the towpath along the main alignment of the canal. The basin once had a connection to the nearby railway but today is the home of Steve Hudson, traditional narrowboat builder http://www.smhudson.co.uk/index.html The bridge is a Grade II Listed Structure. Glascote Top lock is visible to the left.
