Southwest on Ladywood Road, Four Oaks Park, Sutton Coldfield
There are large houses, perhaps built from Edwardian times onwards, in mature grounds. The nameplates for the private roads say Four Oaks Estate although the OS and A-Z maps say Four Oaks Park. The area of Ladywood, at Four Oaks, was originally part of Sutton Park. It was taken for housing in exchange for the Meadow Platt area, which was added to the Park, thus allowing the construction of a new Park Road access from the town. Info from Wikipedia article, Sutton Park.
