Ahead the Sutton border -Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
Photo taken on Rough Road which leads uphill from Kingstanding Circle. The sign reads 'THE ROYAL TOWN OF SUTTON COLDFIELD'. At this point Rough Road becomes Banners Gate Road and this continues to its junction with the A452 Chester Road North at Banners Gate. George Frederick Road - Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
A view south-east along George Frederick Road from its junction with the B4138. To the left of the photo, behind the photographer, it runs north as Sutton Oak Road and to the right it runs southwards as Kingstanding Road. Sutton Oak Road joins the A452 Chester Road on the western boundary of Sutton Park. The Park is a National Nature Reserve and is said to be the largest urban park in Europe. Kingstanding Road runs southwards to Kingstanding Circle, a major roundabout and shopping area, then on to the A453 College Road and the City Centre. A view looking south-eastwards on Beacon Road, a residential road in Kingstanding. It links the cul-de-sac of Endhill Road with the B4138 Kingstanding Road. The B4138 road starts at the Little Aston Lane/Streetly Lane roundabout Image and runs southwards to its junction with the A453 College Road Image Named as Thornhill Road at its northern end it becomes Sutton Oak Road and then Kingstanding Road as far as its southern end.
