Plantsbrook School, formerly Riland Bedford, is a secondary school and sixth form college in Sutton Coldfield, on Upper Holland Road, North Birmingham. http://web.plantsbrookschool.co.uk
From Wikipedia: The school was part built by American soldiers during World War II, who used the site as a camp. When the school opened, boys and girls were kept separate. The school receives its name from Plants Brook, a stream that flows through Sutton Coldfield and passes the school. The previous name of Riland Bedford School comes from the union of the prominent Riland and Bedford families of Sutton Coldfield.
