Kitchener Street, Handsworth, name sign
Formerly a street lined on both sides with terraced houses, which were demolished in 1980. It was subsequently closed and gated in 2009 to prevent extensive fly-tipping. The sign is inside the gated area, but the tipping problem remains very evident.

A fine example of brick and terracotta work of the period, although now unoccupied and in deteriorating condition.
