Christopher Wray's Lighting Emporium - 7-12 Bartholomew Row

Derelict Works, Fox Street, Birmingham
I would welcome any information about this ramshackle works that appears to have been replaced by yet more student accommodation. It was a lousy day and I wish I had taken more views of this. Buildings like this are a wasting asset(!).

Eastside City Park under construction, Birmingham 2012
The park will certainly create a favourable impression to people arriving at Curzon Street by HS2 – as much of it as survives. Here, behind the banner on the white fence, is the severed section of Fazeley Street. At far left is a Masshouse Plaza tower. In the centre are buildings of the two universities, and Millennium Point on the right. Compare with the view seven years later in 2019: Image
