Irrigating Potatoes at Smith farm
The water is pumped to the reel and then down the field to the main irrigation spray which can be seen in the distance. The sprays seen coming from the reel are leaks at the joints in the pipework. In the right background is Waterloo Industrial Estate.

Site of Bidford-on-Avon Station
View westward, towards Broom Junction; Broom Junction - Stratford section of Stratford-on-Avon & Midland Junction Line to Blisworth on the LNWR and to Ravenstone Wood Junction on the Midland Northampton branch near Olney (and thence to the Midland Main Line at Oakley Junction north of Bedford). This section lost its passenger service on 23/5/1949 but remained open to goods (latterly from the ex-GWR at Stratford) until 13/6/1960.
