The Crown Inn, Withybed Green
The epitome of the country pub, the Crown is tucked away in Withybed Green, a hamlet on the edge of Alvechurch adjacent to the Worcester & Birmingham Canal. It was at one time a Mitchells & Butlers Ltd house.

Private houses by the Worcester to Birmingham canal.
These private houses are situated next to 'The Crown Inn' by the banks of the Worcester to Birmingham canal in Alvechurch, Worcestershire. They are on the site of a club which if my memory serves me correctly, was called 'Greenfields' and was demolished in early 2001. (To see a photo taken then, click here: Image). The photo was taken from the Withybed Lane road bridge over the canal. The Birmingham direction is off to the right.

Lock Keeper's Reach, Withybed Green
This small development of terraced houses beside the Worcester & Birmingham Canal is a gated community in the tiny hamlet of Withybed Green on the edge of Alvechurch. The name is a little odd - the nearest lock is at Tardebigge, a long reach indeed.
