The timber-framed heart of this Grade II listed https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101211523-the-white-hart-public-house-shard-end-ward#.WyTUiadKiM8 public house is thought to be early 18th century, but it's been much altered over the years.

The style of housing on Craneberry Road appears to indicate that it is the westernmost extremity of the enormous Chelmsley Wood housing development that is now largely located in Solihull borough. However, this end of Craneberry Road is still just in the City of Birmingham.

Archbishop Grimshaw School: Sixth Form Centre
This photograph from 1983 depicts the central area of this large catholic comprehensive school in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, England. Ahead is the Sixth Form Centre and to the left (and overhead) is the library Built in the early 1970s the school served the large catholic population of the vast adjoining council estate and much of the surrounding area. This building, along with much of the original school, was demolished in the early 21st century to make way for the buildings of the new John Henry Newman Catholic College.

This photograph from 1983 depicts the rather austere building which was at that time the Science Block of this large catholic comprehensive school in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham, England. Built in the early 1970s the school served the large catholic population of the vast adjoining council estate and much of the surrounding area. This building, along with much of the original school, was demolished in the early 21st century to make way for the buildings of the new John Henry Newman Catholic College.
