Birmingham Municipal School of Art
Designed by John Henry Chamberlain in 1883 and completed after his death. The design has a strong Arts and Crafts influence and noticed the glazed roof areas to provide naturally lit studio areas for the students.

Clock tower and dome in Birmingham city centre
The Birmingham Art Gallery and Museum clock tower (often referred to as 'Big Brum') is seen here from the Terrace of the Library of Birmingham, using telephoto assistance. The dome is on the Birmingham Council House, constructed during 1874-1879.

Original Birmingham tram track
Trams returned to Birmingham in 1999, and work has just completed a further extension into Broad Street, however, this little bit of tram track on Chamberlain Square is all that is left from the original tram track. The original trams were withdrawn from service in the early 1950s.
