This was built in 1896 as the National Telephone Company's offices and exchange and has been described as the finest commercial building of Birmingham's brick and terracotta period.

An exemplary piece of Victorian commercial architecture, boldly detailed in strikingly red brick and terracotta. The main facades are articulated by giant arches divided by piers which continue up as turrets, shaped gables and chimneystacks (Image]). By Martin & Chamberlain, 1896. Grade I listed. Built as offices and telephone exchange for the National Telephone Company, it is now offices.
