Midland Bank Bartley Green Birmingham - What's left of it!
This was the site of the Midland Bank (now HSBC) branch in Caynham Road Bartley Green Birmingham. It was a sub-office to Harborne, Birmingham Branch and manned, in the early 1960s by two clerks. A cashier and a "back-office" clerk. The staff attended daily after being taken by local private hire car to the office for a limited number of hours a day before returning to Harborne to complete the days work.

Bus turning circle, Woodgate (1)
Located in the corner of Wood Lane (foreground) and Field Lane, close to the high rise block of flats without which no post war Birmingham estate is complete, this terminus was formerly referred to on bus destination blinds as "Bartley Green", but buses going here have shown "Woodgate" for at least 20 years now. At around quarter past five on the last day of British Summer Time, the sinking Sun is reflecting somewhat inconveniently from a first floor window of Kempsey House.

Bus turning circle, Woodgate (2)
Located in the corner of Wood Lane (foreground) and Field Lane, this terminus was formerly referred to on bus destination blinds as "Bartley Green", but buses going here have shown "Woodgate" for at least 20 years now. Being quite a capacious turning circle, the presence of parked cars does not unduly matter provided the bus stop itself is not blocked.
