The style of name is as on the oval device facing the photographer. This company subsequently moved its offices to Coventry and was then wound up following liquidation. Photographed during a Geograph meet in the Jewellery Quarter. A lot of photographs were taken during that meet.

Junction of Mary Street and Caroline Street, Jewellery Quarter
The plaque over the door reads William West & Sons Ltd and the date stone is 1920. St Paul's Square is in the distance. I have a feeling this company is no more.
