Built in 1836 as a house and factory for a silversmith, George Unite. Possibly by Fallows & Hart. The facade is slightly curved to follow the line of the street. Grade II listed.

Former factory built in 1852-53 in classical mode for once. Grade II listed. It was at least partly occupied by Rapid Coatings, but they have possibly since relocated.

Pickering & Mayell Ltd on the corner of Caroline Street and Kenyon Road in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. The building, now in a sorry state was originally two houses and dates from 1826-7.

The style of name is as on the oval device facing the photographer. This company subsequently moved its offices to Coventry and was then wound up following liquidation. Photographed during a Geograph meet in the Jewellery Quarter. A lot of photographs were taken during that meet.

Junction of Mary Street and Caroline Street, Jewellery Quarter
The plaque over the door reads William West & Sons Ltd and the date stone is 1920. St Paul's Square is in the distance. I have a feeling this company is no more.
