The (former) King George V public house
Most recently trading as an oriental restaurant a few years ago Image, but now apparently empty (at the time of this photo) the pub was built in 1935 for Mitchells and Butlers brewery, and attracted a Grade II listing https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101389320-king-george-v-public-house-longbridge-ward#.XvIe52hKjcs & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1389320 in 2001. The listing details a selection of the remaining interior fittings, and includes the line that it "is a good example of a large Birmingham road house."

Bristol Road South, Longbridge
Looking into towards Northfield along the central reservation of the Bristol Road at the junction with Tessall Lane. From 1923 to 5th July 1952 this wide central reservation carried the Birmingham trams out to Rednal and Rubery. There are aspirations to right the shortsighted 1950s closure and extend the Midlands Metro along this route.
