Bungalow built in the 1920s on Hay Green Lane in Bournville. In the early 20th the Bournville Village Trust built dwellings in a number of different materials, this bungalow is built in timber.

Tree-lined Bournville Lane
Further up the road on the left are bungalows built just before WWI for the elderly by the Bournville Village Trust. The Trust developed house building with different materials, the white house on the left is of concrete construction.

Bournville Road
Autumn on Bournville Road in Bournville. The bungalows on the right were built just before the First World War as homes for the elderly by the Bournville Village Trust. Bournville was a pioneer in this kind of housing with many local authorities taking their inspiration from these to build homes for senior citizens on the 1920s and 1930s.
