The Bourn flowing through Bournville Park
The stream continues through / under the chocolate factory to join the River Rea. This should not be confused with the Bourn Brook, which joins the Rea a mile or so further north.

Houses on Bournville Lane
The suburb of Bournville was laid out as a garden city at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century by the Cadbury family, the Quaker family who founded Cadbury's chocolate. The suburb contains many houses influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and designed by architect William Alexander Harvey. The architect only used about five or six basic floor plans but with the use of various features and designs, such as brickwork or rendering resulted in each house having some individuality.
