The New Dogpool Hotel
That's the description and signage on this narrow frontage, although there's also a hanging sign on the wall describing it as The Hibernian (including a picture of a Scots Guardsman, piping in full regalia). A quick investigation on the wonderful internet rather suggests that the former Hibernian became the Dogpool, and was an entertainment venue for a while with live bands. The gig list rather dried up a few years ago, around late 2009, so it may well now be closed. (If the foregoing is incorrect, I am more than happy to update this description straight away.)

Former Telephone Exchange, Selly Park (1)
Located at 1040 Pershore Road B29 7PX, this former TE, which dates from 1956, was replaced by the TE in Oakfield Road sometime during the 1980s, SP0583 refers http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/951085. The two notices on the blue doors say "Fire Exit. No Parking at any time, in use 24 hours a day" and "To gain admittance. Please ring bell at Main Entrance". That main entrance is in Dogpool Lane.

Former Telephone Exchange, Selly Park (2)
Taken in Dogpool Lane, this photo shows the former TE surrounded by wooden boarding which would indicate that it is about to be demolished. Planning permission was given in January 2002 for this TE to be replaced by fourteen residential apartments. The van at the right of the photo is used by a firm that specialises in asbestos removal, so demolition of this former TE may well be imminent.

Former Telephone Exchange, Selly Park (3)
This photo shows the BT notice on the wall of the former TE in Dogpool Lane. It says the following:
"British Telecommunications plc premises
Private property - keep out
This car park is for use by British Telecommunications plc vehicles and other vehicles authorised to enter on business by British Telecommunications plc. Access to unauthorised vehicles is prohibited.
This car park is in constant use by vehicles.
British Telecommunications plc will not accept liability for any loss, damage or injury, however caused to persons, vehicles or property".
With this former TE about to be demolished, this notice will no doubt be removed by BT and kept elsewhere.
